Who to contact

For questions about this website or your information, contact Dale McKay at dale@ravagesoft.com. This policy covers the Ravagesoft corporate website and its private business workspace. A client project may need a separate privacy notice and data-processing agreement.

Ravagesoft is a registered business name of SEL-MAC ENTERPRISES PTY LTD (ABN 22 107 387 682; ACN 107 387 682), based in Brisbane, Australia.

Information we collect and why

The enquiry form collects your email address, message and any optional project area you select. We use them to respond, understand the proposed work and manage the conversation. If work proceeds, relevant information may be added to a client or job record, along with contact details, progress and internal notes.

An email address and a message are needed to submit the form. You can browse without submitting contact details. No name is required for an initial enquiry. Without a working contact address, we may be unable to reply.

Do not send passwords, payment details, health information or other sensitive information in an initial enquiry. Only share another person’s information if you are entitled to do so. Contact us to agree on a suitable channel before sharing confidential project material.

The AI Idea Lab

Prepared examples run in your browser and do not send your challenge to an AI provider. Selecting “Explore my idea” when live AI is available sends the text through this website’s server to Cloudflare Workers AI. The current model is Meta Llama 3.3. Use a general business description without personal, sensitive or confidential information.

The application does not write challenges or generated answers to its database or application logs. They remain in the page while you use it. If you choose to discuss an idea, you can review and edit the enquiry before sending it. Only submitting that enquiry adds its text to the enquiry inbox and any enabled email notification.

Separate usage records contain request times, outcomes, token counts, cost reservations and a keyed network identifier for rate limiting. They do not contain prompt text, answers, raw IP addresses or credentials. These identifiers are pseudonymous, not a guarantee of anonymity.

Cloudflare processes requests under its own service terms. Read Cloudflare’s Workers AI data-use information for its retention commitments and exceptions. We do not promise that a provider never processes or retains technical information.

Browsing, cookies and demonstrations

This website has no advertising trackers, visitor analytics scripts or analytics cookies. Fonts and brand assets are served from the website itself. The private Studio uses Cloudflare Access session and security cookies for owner sign-in. The website does not save enquiry drafts or demonstration data in browser storage. Reloading or leaving the page clears those drafts and demonstration changes.

The working example uses fictional records. Its intake, scheduling and reporting actions run in the page; they do not send data to a customer system, calendar, email service or the enquiry inbox.

The server and network services necessarily handle connection information, such as IP addresses and request details, to deliver requests and protect the service. The enquiry service uses a keyed network identifier for rate limiting rather than storing a raw IP address in the enquiry record. Provider security logs are separate from the application’s records.

Storage, service providers and overseas processing

Enquiry, client, job, notification and usage records are stored in a dedicated Cloudflare database. Access to the business workspace is restricted to the authorised owner through Cloudflare Access. Enquiry notifications are sent through the existing Ravagesoft mail service at mail.ravagesoft.com to dale@ravagesoft.com. Copies may remain on the mail server, in mail applications and in their backups.

Live AI uses Cloudflare Workers AI. This website uses Cloudflare hosting and network security. Cloudflare operates internationally, including in the United States; processing may occur outside Australia. We do not restrict this website’s Cloudflare processing to Australia.

Information may be handled by the hosting, AI, email and backup providers needed to run the selected service, or disclosed where required by law. This website has no feature that sells enquiry information or subscribes visitors to marketing. Responding to an enquiry does not enrol you in a mailing list.

Contact us if you need more information about service providers or processing locations before sharing project information. We cannot promise Australian-only processing for the website or email service.

Retention and security

The website does not automatically delete enquiry, client, job or AI usage history. Retention depends on the conversation, ongoing work, record-keeping obligations and any dispute. You can ask us to review whether information is still needed or request its removal; no fixed automatic deletion period is promised. Enquiry rate-limit counters are cleaned up as new enquiries are processed. That cleanup does not delete enquiry content or the separate AI usage ledger.

The private business workspace requires owner sign-in and a valid, time-limited Cloudflare Access session. It is not a client portal. Credentials are kept outside the public build, and enquiry emails use verified encrypted transport. No website or email system can guarantee absolute security.

Any removal of information needs to account for the database, internal notes, email copies and backups. Records may need to be retained to meet legal obligations or address a dispute.

Access, correction and privacy complaints

Email dale@ravagesoft.com to request access to, correction of or deletion of information you have provided, or to raise a privacy concern. Describe the request and the address you used to contact us. Please do not send identity documents in the initial email; proportionate identity checks may be needed before information is disclosed or changed.

Privacy complaints are reviewed by the company’s director. If information cannot be provided, corrected or deleted, we will explain the reason and any available next step. Where the Privacy Act applies, applicable access, correction and complaint rights continue to apply.

You can consult the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner’s complaints guidance about eligibility and escalation. It generally asks you to complain to the business first and allow 30 days for a response.

Changes to this policy

The version and update date appear above. Changes to providers, features or data handling require a review of this policy and the notices shown when information is collected. Changes do not remove rights that apply to information already collected.
